About Guided Surf Weekend

Take a guided weekend on one of the most wave-rich pieces of coast in South Africa. Your host, Albert Burger, grew up here on Steenbokfontein Farm and knows every wave, the best conditions for every spot, and all the secret places. You will stay in our up-market, tented camp at the Quarry on the farm, with a full kitchen and bathrooms.

All meals will be catered, starting on arrival with your Friday evening braai (bbq) under the stars. Water and snacks while wave hunting, farm dinner on Saturday evening and lunch at the famous, Muisbosskerm before heading home on Sunday. If the waves for some reason do turn off, check out the bushman paintings and caves, go fishing, dive crayfish (in season), play golf, go wine and beer tasting or go on a 4×4 adventure.

You will not find better waves! Beach breaks, reefs, slabs and point breaks. Also waves for all levels of surfers. Discover surf’s wild frontier.
